Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Download the CreamiRecipes app and tap "Sign Up" on the login screen. Enter your email address and create a secure password. You can also set up your profile with a display name and country.

Can I browse recipes without an account?

Yes! You can browse and view recipes as a guest. However, you'll need an account to rate recipes, save favorites, or share your own creations.

What devices are supported?

CreamiRecipes is available on:

  • Android phones and tablets
  • iPhone and iPad
  • Web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge)
  • Windows desktop
  • macOS desktop
  • Linux desktop

Recipe Management

How do I create a recipe?

Tap the "+" button in the app, then "Create Recipe". Fill in the recipe details including ingredients, instructions, prep time, and freeze time. You can also add photos and specify whether it's for Ninja Creami or Ninja Creami Deluxe.

Can I edit my recipes after posting?

Yes, you can edit your own recipes at any time. Go to your profile, find the recipe, and tap the edit button. Changes are saved immediately.

How do I delete a recipe?

Only recipe creators can delete their recipes. Go to your recipe, tap the menu button (three dots), and select "Delete Recipe". This action cannot be undone.

What's the difference between ingredients formats?

CreamiRecipes supports both simple text ingredients and structured ingredients with amounts and units. Structured ingredients enable smart unit conversion between metric and imperial measurements.

Rating System

How does the rating system work?

Rate recipes on five criteria:

  • Overall: Your general impression
  • Texture: Smoothness, creaminess, consistency
  • Sweetness: Sugar level and balance
  • Flavor: Taste intensity and quality
  • Presentation: Visual appeal

Can I rate my own recipes?

No, you cannot rate your own recipes to ensure fair and unbiased ratings.

Can I change my rating?

Yes, you can update your rating at any time by rating the recipe again. Your new rating will replace the previous one.

Unit Conversion

How does unit conversion work?

CreamiRecipes features intelligent unit conversion that considers the type of ingredient:

  • Liquids: ml ↔ cups, tablespoons, teaspoons, fl oz
  • Solids: g ↔ oz, lbs (for butter, chocolate, etc.)
  • Powders: g ↔ cups (using volume equivalents for flour, sugar, cocoa)

How do I convert units?

Tap the conversion toggle button in the ingredients section, or tap individual ingredient badges to convert specific items.

Profile & Community

How do I edit my profile?

Go to your profile and tap "Edit Profile". You can update your display name, country, and profile picture.

How do achievements work?

Earn points by sharing recipes, receiving ratings, and participating in the community. Your achievements and ranking are displayed on your profile.

Can I view other users' profiles?

Yes, tap on any username in ratings or recipe cards to view their profile, recipes, and statistics.

Export & Sharing

Can I export recipes to PDF?

Yes! Use the PDF export feature to save individual recipes or entire collections as formatted PDF documents.

How do I share recipes outside the app?

Currently, sharing is done through the app's community features. PDF export allows you to save and share recipes externally.

Troubleshooting

The app is running slowly or crashing

Try these steps:

  • Close and reopen the app
  • Restart your device
  • Check for app updates
  • Clear the app cache (Android) or reinstall (iOS)
  • Ensure you have adequate storage space

I can't upload photos

Make sure:

  • You've granted camera and photo permissions
  • Your internet connection is stable
  • The photo file size is reasonable (under 10MB)
  • The image format is supported (JPEG, PNG)

I forgot my password

Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen. Enter your email address and check for a password reset link.

My account was suspended

Account suspensions occur for violations of our community guidelines or Terms of Service. Contact support for more information about your specific case.

Data & Privacy

How do I delete my account?

Contact support to request account deletion. This will permanently remove your profile, recipes, and ratings.

Can I download my data?

Yes, you can export your recipes to PDF format. For a complete data export, contact support.

Is my data secure?
