No, CreamiRecipes is an independent community-created app by fans for fans. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by SharkNinja Operating LLC. "Ninja Creami" is a trademark of SharkNinja.

Do I need a Ninja Creami to use the app?

While the recipes are optimized for Ninja Creami machines, you can browse and save recipes even if you don't own one yet. The app helps you discover what's possible before making a purchase.

Account & Profile

Do I need an account to view recipes?

No, you can browse recipes as a guest. However, creating an account allows you to rate recipes, save favorites, create your own recipes, and build your community profile.

How do I create an account?

Download the app and tap "Sign Up". Enter your email and create a password. You can optionally set up your profile with a display name and country.

Can I change my username/display name?

Yes, go to your profile and tap "Edit Profile" to update your display name at any time.

What information is public on my profile?

Other users can see your display name, country (if provided), recipes you've shared, your ratings on recipes, and your achievement points. Your email address is never shown to other users.

How many recipes are available?

The app includes 32 official Ninja Creami recipes plus user-contributed community recipes. The library grows daily as our community shares new creations.

What's the difference between Ninja Creami and Ninja Creami Deluxe recipes?

Ninja Creami Deluxe has additional programs and larger capacity. When creating recipes, you can specify which machine type it's designed for to help users find compatible recipes.

Can I modify existing recipes?

You can't directly edit others' recipes, but you can create your own version based on an existing recipe. Make sure to give credit to the original creator when appropriate.

How do I save recipes for later?

Tap the heart icon on any recipe to add it to your favorites. Access your saved recipes from your profile page.

Can I print recipes?

Yes! Use the PDF export feature to create printable versions of individual recipes or entire collections.

Rating & Reviews

How does the rating system work?

Rate recipes on a 5-star scale across five categories: Overall, Texture, Sweetness, Flavor, and Presentation. This helps other users understand what to expect.

Why can't I rate my own recipes?

To maintain fair and unbiased ratings, users cannot rate their own recipes. This helps the community trust that ratings reflect genuine experiences from other users.

Can I leave written reviews?

Currently, the app focuses on star ratings across the five categories. Written reviews may be added in future updates based on community feedback.

Basic browsing of previously loaded recipes works offline, but you need an internet connection to view new recipes, upload content, or sync your data.

How do I update the app?

Updates are available through your device's app store (Google Play, App Store) or the app will prompt you when updates are available for other platforms.

What is unit conversion?

Our smart conversion system switches between metric and imperial measurements. It considers ingredient types (liquids vs solids vs powders) to provide cooking-appropriate conversions like "1/4 cup" instead of "0.25 cups".

How do achievements work?

Earn points by sharing recipes, receiving positive ratings, and contributing to the community. Your points determine your ranking on the community leaderboard.

What are recipe collections?

Collections allow you to group related recipes together (like "Holiday Treats" or "Healthy Options"). This feature may be enabled in future updates.

Can I export multiple recipes at once?

Yes! The PDF export feature supports both individual recipes and bulk export of multiple recipes in a single document.

Community

How do I report inappropriate content?

Use the report function in the app or contact support directly. We review all reports and take appropriate action to maintain a positive community environment.

What happens if I violate community guidelines?

Can I follow other users?

Currently, you can view other users' profiles and recipes but cannot "follow" them. This feature may be added based on community feedback.

Troubleshooting

The app won't load/crashes on startup

Try restarting your device, checking for app updates, or reinstalling the app. Make sure you have a stable internet connection and sufficient storage space.

I can't upload photos

Ensure you've granted camera and photo permissions to the app. Check that your internet connection is stable and the image file isn't too large (max 10MB).

My recipes aren't syncing between devices

Make sure you're logged into the same account on all devices and have an active internet connection. Sync can take a few moments to complete.

I forgot my password

Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen. Enter your email to receive a password reset link.
